Privacy and data protection
In short: this website uses no cookies, ads or tracking. We use the details you send with an enquiry only to answer you and for your stay.
1. Who controls your data

2. What we collect and why
Enquiries. The form on the Enquiry page stores nothing on the website: the button opens your own email app with a ready message that you send yourself. From that message, your name, email address, phone number (if given), dates, number of guests, the room you chose, whether you want breakfast and your message are used so that we can answer you and prepare your stay. The legal basis is your request before entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
Picking dates on the home page. The date picker at the top of the home page runs only in your browser. The dates you pick are not sent anywhere; when you click, they are carried in the address of the Enquiry page so the form is already filled in.
Hosting. The site is hosted by Cloudflare, which processes visitors' IP addresses in short-lived logs for security and to deliver the pages. Cloudflare also records anonymous visit statistics on the site (Cloudflare Web Analytics): which pages are opened, how fast they load, the browser type and the country. It uses no cookies, does not store your IP address and builds no visitor profiles.
WhatsApp. If you message us on WhatsApp, the messages are carried by WhatsApp (Meta) under its own privacy policy. We use them only to answer you and for your stay.
3. What we don't use
No cookies, no ads or tracking, no embedded maps or videos. Fonts are served from this site, so apart from the Cloudflare statistics above, viewing it sends no requests to Google or other third parties. The Google Maps and WhatsApp links only open Google or WhatsApp when you click them.
4. How long we keep data
Enquiries are kept as long as needed to answer you and for your stay; invoicing and guest registration data are kept as long as the law requires.
5. Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify and erase your data, to restrict processing, to object and to data portability. To exercise them, write to family.ravnik@gmail.com. You can lodge a complaint with the Slovenian Information Commissioner (ip-rs.si).
